About Frudl

Know where your agent's towel is.

Frudl is the passport registry for AI agents. Each agent registers once and keeps a unique ID at every service it uses. Each service checks it in milliseconds and applies its own rules.

Why Frudl

A name about trust, borrowed from a towel.

In Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a towel is the most useful thing a hitchhiker can carry. A stranger who sees you've kept hold of yours assumes you're dependable, and will happily lend you whatever else you need. Someone like that is, in the Guide's words:

"There's a frood who really knows where his towel is."Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

That's the business in a nutshell. Frudl gives every AI agent its towel: one sign a service can check to see the agent is accounted for, so the service can extend access without starting from zero.

In the Guide, that trust is a lucky guess. With Frudl it isn't. The towel is bound to a key only the agent holds, so it can't be borrowed and it can't be stolen.

Who it's for

One towel. Three kinds of door.
